Banff Holidays

Reference WW37899

Our Banff holidays will transport you to an all-seasons resort that is encircled by majestic peaks, home to crystal-clear lakes and full of historic charm; there is a reason that everyone has heard of the tiny mountain town of Banff.

Located within the UNESCO site of Banff National Park, this charming town is set in the middle of 6000 acres of wilderness. The entire region is home to hundreds of species of wildlife from grizzly bears to bald eagles. From wildlife-watching experiences to outdoor adventures in the mountains, Banff National Park will allow you to feel truly immersed in nature.

First settled in the 1880s and lying across the Canadian Pacific Railway Line, Banff has been a resort town since its fruition. In the colder months, the town is dedicated to skiing and there are three world-class ski resorts to explore. You can also sample heli-skiing, snowboarding, ice-climbing and tubing throughout the park. If you would like to explore at a slightly slower pace, why not take a horse-drawn sleigh ride around the outside of Lake Louise?

The warmer weather opens up a plethora of opportunities to experience Banff in all its glory. Make sure you pack your camera so you can capture the perfect shot of alpine meadows full of mountain flora, wildlife and countless turquoise lakes.

Banff is home to all the facilities that visitors could ever ask for. Take a dip in the renowned Upper Hot Springs, dine with a mountain vista in one of the many fine-dining establishments, shop in some of Alberta's most delightful boutiques or stay in the most luxurious hotels.

With a personal advisor, low deposits and holiday payment plans, it's easy to see why now is the time to embark on that holiday of a lifetime. Get in touch today to plan your jam-packed holiday to Banff.

5 Things to Do

Go sky-high
Found on the shoulder of Sulphur Mountain, it’s one of the easiest ways to admire the natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies. Board a glass-enclosed gondola and take in the views as you gently move towards the sky.

Hit the slopes
Every winter Banff welcomes a blanket of snow. Combine that with its easy access to the Big 3 slopes, Mount Norquay, Sunshine Village and Lake Louise and you’ll discover the reason why it is so popular with skiers.

Evening drinks
Despite its secluded alpine location, Banff knows how to party. The streets are lined with lively bars and nightclubs packed with skiers and locals letting their hair down after a day on the slopes or after a day of exploring in summer.

Banff Upper Hot Springs
Take a dip in Canada’s highest natural springs. It’s also the only hot springs in Banff National Park and many locals recommend that you pop by in the morning for the best experience.

Bow Falls
Bow Falls is a major, but serene, waterfall located within walking distance of Banff. If you think they look familiar, it is because they were featured in the 1953 Marilyn Monroe film River of No Return.
