  We have just come home from the most amazing cruise experience all thanks to the wonderful Tracey Hunter who is based in fort Kinnard Edinburgh. Our whole experience with Tracey has been one of the most seamless and enjoyable I have had in a very long time. Not being big travelers Tracey helped us every step of the way and went above and beyond to make this the best holiday we could ever have imagined. From checking us in there and back to going into great detail and to great lengths on her part. I would have given Tracey 100 stars if it was an option. We can’t thank you enough and will never ever use anybody else in the future. Everyone needs to get along there and experience her expertise for themselves.   Unfortunately due to the change of entry requirements for kids to travel to Spain we are not able to go to Lanzarote for Christmas. I had booked our holiday through Fort Kinnaird branch. Tracey contacted me before we had even heard about the change by the Spanish Government. Tracey was so helpful and patient from the start. At the point of the change we were only able to change the holiday to another date at a cost to us which we didn’t want to do but Tracey contacted jet2 and spent hours on hold with them to try and get us a refund, she was constantly checking for updates and keeping me informed. Tracey also went above and beyond checking for any updates during her own personal time. Tracey was so patient as she knew I was panicking a bit as we were getting closer to our departure date. We have now managed to get a refund and I am grateful for all of Tracey’s time and effort. I will definitely be contacting her again to help with my next holiday!

  We recently visited Barrhead Travel at Fort Kinnaird; on both occasions we received excellent service from Tracey Hunter, Deputy Manager. Our situation was complex: we had twice had cruises cancelled since March 2020 and now wanted to gather up our credit and use it to book a new cruise in 2022. Tracey quickly confirmed with Fred Olsen how much we had to spend and then negotiated a good price for our proposed cruise. Tracey was very welcoming, cheerful throughout, explained everything in detail and sorted all the paperwork. We will have no hesitation in returning to Barrhead for booking future holidays.

  My travelling companion and I have been booking holidays, and particularly cruises, with Tracey at Barrhead Travel, Fort Kinnaird, Edinburgh for many years and would be reluctant to go to anyone else such is our confidence in her. She is easy to talk to, very calm and super organized, and nothing is too much trouble no matter how complicated our travel plans are.   A friend and I were due to go on a Greek Island cruise in early September but, as we're both in our mid-70s, when the balance of our holiday was due to be paid we decided to cancel and emailed support team at Barrhead to advise of this. We knew from their website not to expect any communication from them for 28 days so was surprised and delighted to receive a phone call from Tracey who very courteously, with no drama, and within about an hour, had organised a refund credit note so that we can re-book next year (hopefully!). We have been booking holidays with Barrhead for many years and have always received great service and this year, even with the present situation, has been no exception. Many, many thanks to Tracey for her kindness and expertise in organising our refund credit note, I hope her bosses realise what an asset she is to their business.

  Phoned Barrhead Travel today to cancel my holiday for this year as we aren’t feeling safe about going abroad this year due to covid-19. I spoke to Tracey Hunter (Fort Kinnard) and she could not of been any better help. I was under the impression if I transferred my holiday to next year I would need to pay the remaining balance now- however she was able to transfer my holiday to next year without me paying the remaining balance until March 2022. She was so helpful and managed to get us a even cheaper deal than we were originally paying! Great customer service 5*!
