Edmonton Holidays

Reference WW37905

This city of Edmonton is the perfect combination of a lively metropolis and charming natural surroundings. Most importantly, it's the ideal destination for your next Canadian city break.

18 hours of daylight in the summer provides the perfect backdrop to the countless events that Edmonton is known for; after all, it is the City of Festivals. Visit in the warmer months and attend North America's oldest and largest Fringe Festival; or attend the Edmonton Folk Festival, recognised as one of the best in the world.

Rich in culture and history, Edmonton is also an ideal starting point to learn all about Alberta's fascinating past. Take a free tour of the Alberta legislative building, visit the scores of museums and galleries or allow yourself to be entranced by the world-class symphony orchestra. Visit the Muttart Conservatory and gaze in wonder at the beautiful glass pyramids that define Edmonton's skyline.

If you want to venture beyond the big city lights, Edmonton is known as the 'Gateway to the North' for a reason. The city is your perfect jumping point to discover the Gold Rush Trail or part of the Trans-Canada Highway and the North Saskatchewan River.
