Welcome to Fred. Olsen sailings of the Rhine, Danube, Moselle & Main rivers in the style and friendly atmosphere of Brabant
Welcome aboard the river cruising boat, Brabant. Built in 2006, this stylish, comfortable vessel has everything you need to make your holiday memorable, from bright and spacious public areas to well-equipped bedrooms to ample deck space from which to enjoy the superb views gliding by. With just four decks and less than 80 rooms and suites, Brabant has the intimate, ‘home-from-home’ atmosphere which Fred. Olsen’s guests know and love.)
An inspirational journey every time
Whichever of the carefully crafted itineraries you choose you’re in for a special experience, taking in some of Europe’s most beautiful rivers. You could opt for an authentic exploration of the majestic Danube, passing through significant sections including the Iron Gates gorges, the fjord-like Schlögener Schlinge or the floodplains of the Danube Delta. Alternatively, savour a selection of highlights from the Rhine, Main and Moselle valleys, all expertly scheduled for daylight cruising.
Relax comfortably on deck as a rewarding picture book of romantic towns, formidable fortresses, terraced vineyards, captivating cathedrals, flourishing forests and dramatic mountains unfolds. You may choose to take in the authentic highlights of a particular country, such as the colourful tulips of the Netherlands in full bloom, or the treasured medieval architecture of Germany. Or perhaps head off on a winding journey of discovery across Europe, ticking off highlights in countries along the way; these itineraries combine major attraction-packed cities, such as Vienna and Budapest, with an array of lesser-known gems. There will be rewards throughout.
The Fred. Olsen difference
Brabant’s classic design is a little smaller than many river boats, so you’ll enjoy the usual hallmarks of Fred. Olsen’s approach to cruising. In line with our ocean-going fleet, this smaller-scaled vessel has the style, ambience and understated quality of a country house hotel. With the fifth generation Fred. Olsen as Chairman, we believe we have crafted the perfect formula to ensure you get the best out of your holiday. Now our experience and knowledge has been applied to this new programme of river cruises.
