Fly direct from Heathrow airport to St. John’s in Newfoundland Canada. On arrival, pick up your hire car and head to your St. John’s hotel for the next two nights.
Today is a day of leisure for you to enjoy some of what St. John’s has to offer. Why not drive up to Signal Hill, a military landmark which has its own tours and trails for you to enjoy. Or why not visit The Rooms, an art gallery and museum dedicated to the natural & cultural history. Wander along the multi-coloured streets, check out Quidi Vidi and buy some local crafts.
Pack your things and head ‘around the bay’ to Trinity, a small coastal town. On you have arrived, make you way to the Artisan Inn for the next three nights of your Newfoundland adventure.
As the morning arrives on your second day in Trinity you could spend the day visiting the local attractions. Visit the Fort Point Lighthouse that offers anyone visiting a quiet and picturesque view of the surrounding land and sea. Depending on the time of year, keep your eyes peeled for whales and icebergs!
Take the time to relax and hike around or hop back in the car and explore the little nooks and crannies along the coastline on your way to Bonavista. Enjoy the fresh air, the puffins, the hiking trails and indulge in a fantastic lunch.
Leave early this morning so you can stop in at Clarenville, Brigus and/or Cupids on your wander back to St. John’s for your final night. Make sure you’ve tried a local beer, cod tongues and fish and chips before you go!
Transfer to the airport, drop off your car and head back to the UK.
