Corralejo is the big player on Fuerteventura and attracts families, couples and groups of friends.
The town itself boasts lively nightlife, tonnes of shops and delicious restaurants. There’s also an Old Town that is home to narrow streets and traditional seafood restaurants.
But like all resorts in Fuerteventura, its main draw is the beach - or beaches to be exact. Right in the resort itself lies Town Beach – which is backed by beach bars – and slightly further along is Galera Beach, which is the busiest stretch of sand with shallow waters. However, if it’s water sports you’re after, we recommend Flag Beach – which is just south of the resort.
Nature-lovers aren’t left out either. Just off the coast lies Los Lobos, a deserted island with fauna you won’t find anywhere else on earth – and some of the best snorkelling you’ll find in the Canaries. Boat journeys leave regularly throughout the day.
