Nha Trang Travel Guides

The capital of Khanh Hoa province, and located on Vietnam's southeastern coastline, Nha Trang is a popular tourist destination and a great stop on any backpacking trail. With a reputation as a glamorous 'party city' - it hosted the Miss Universe pageant in 2008, the Miss World pageant in 2010, and the 2016 Asian Beach Games - Nha Trang boasts fabulous, pristine white-sand beaches, and stellar scuba-diving and snorkelling.

To the west, you’ll find the modern tourist resort with hotels and international eateries and to the east, you’ll find Danang, a busy Vietnamese town in which to embrace local life. Choose whether to mingle with the Nha Trang people, daring to sample delicacies like the half-cooked duck eggs, visit the historic sightseeing attractions or head to the glorious sands and work on your tan.

Things to do in Nha Trang

Nha Trang is a great place to go for fun and the sun. Most of the most popular attractions and sights in Nha Trang are set to the picturesque backdrop of white sandy beaches and clear blue waters. Here are some of the attractions and sights that you can experience in Nha Trang:

Po Nagar Cham Tower:

The Po Nagar Cham Towers are the defining features of Nha Trang that date back to between 8th and 11th centuries. Set atop Mount Cu Lau, with views overlooking the Cai River, there were originally ten buildings dedicated to Hindu deities, but most have been destroyed over the years.

Long Son Pagoda & White Buddha:

Long Son Pagoda, founded in the late 19th century, features stunning designs of mosaic dragons made with glass and ceramic tiles while the main sanctuary is adorned with modern interpretations of traditional motifs.

Thap Ba Hot Springs Centre:

Thap Ba Hot Springs Centre is a great place to relax and rejuvenate after a day of exploring Nha Trang. It is believed that the natural hot mineral springs help detoxify and soothe fatigued muscles, remove dead skin cells, and supply minerals to the body.
