When visiting Los Angeles you will immediately feel like you are on a film set. I stayed near Santa Monica Bay which is a fun day out to try the rides and amusements or sample the food trucks, however, it is pretty packed with tourists and so might not be the most serene place to relax. Head to El Matador Beach for properly scenic natural beauty and a peaceful place to sunbathe! If you’re looking for some interesting markets, foods and a ‘hippy feel’ head to Venice beach and you will not be disappointed! Or if you are looking to try your hand at surfing head to Huntington Beach where you are guaranteed to catch a wave and can rent the equipment on the day. When looking for things to do in-land I would recommend taking any one of the Hollywood Tours to get a feel of the city and hear about where and how the massive Hollywood superstars came to be famous.
