Kauai Hawaii Holidays

Known as the Garden Isle, our Kauai Isand holidays offers an authentic Hawaiian Pacific Ocean experience.

This tropical island has largely been left in its organic state, and its surface is adorned with a lush green rainforest. As you explore the island, you’ll discover the natural wonders that have made it so popular with Hollywood film directors (Jurassic Park and King Kong are just two examples). On Kauai’s west side you’ll find the Waimea Canyon (also known as The Grand Canyon of the Pacific) that stretches across the island for 14 miles and nestles 3,600 feet into the earth. Then there’s Napali Coast, a dramatic shoreline of velvet green cliffs and cascading waterfalls falling into each other for 17 miles. There’s no other place in the world where you’ll find nature so in tune with itself.

There's only one way to describe the island of Kauai and that is paradise. We were stunned by the mountains, jagged cliffs, beautiful valleys and the tropical rainforests. We were spoiled for choice with outdoor activities but kayaking the Wailua River, snorkelling on Poipu Beach, hiking the Kokee State Park trails and ziplining above Kauai's beautiful valleys were our adventure highlights. We hiked the Napali Coast (Kalalau Trail), which has been on our bucket lists and it absolutely lived up to expectations with breathtaking ocean views, lush green mountains and stunning scenery. It was Hawaii in a nutshell for me and was one of my main reasons for visiting. The food in Kauai is worth the visit alone; we visited Koloa Fish Market on a scenic town of Koloa which served up the biggest portions of the freshest fish. Chicken in a Barrel BBQ also went down very well and you can take your burritos down to the beach right next door to enjoy under the palm trees. The place gets its name because they slow cook their meat in barrel cookers which is what gives it that amazing flavour.
