Whether you’re returning from Mars or awaiting your favourite astronaut, decompress with an array of space-themed activities.

  • Mission: SPACE Race 
    It’s astronauts versus ground control in a race to see who can send their rocket from Mars to Earth first. Up to 56 cadets can play at once. Whose team are you on?
  • Expedition Mars 
    You’ve got 4 minutes to use a joystick and jet-pack button to explore the surface of Mars and find your 4 fellow astronauts. Good luck, cadet!
  • Space Base 
    Junior space explorers will be inspired to reach for the stars and crawl into wormholes on this fun interactive playground.
  • Postcards from Space 
    Create an e-mail a video postcard—starring you—to anyone in the universe you please.

House of the Whispering Willows

Rally the troops to see these one-third-scale reproductions of the famed Terracotta Army of Qin Shi Huang.

“Tomb Warriors: Guardian Spirits of Ancient China” lines up row after row of stalwart soldiers, replicas of those buried with the Qin Dynasty emperor in 209–210 BC to protect him from the evil spirits of the underworld. Marvel at the astounding detail and realism of these 197 men—almost every face has unique features and its own distinct expression.

As you wander the exhibit, study genuine historical artefacts, including 2,000-year-old tomb sculptures from the Han Dynasty period, plus replicas of the emperor’s horses and chariots.

Figment wants you to join him in making music, customized digital pictures and more!

After your Journey Into Imagination with Figment, stay and play a while at ImageWorks, a sensory-inspired play area

You can even take Figment home with you! After your romp with the activities at ImageWorks, you’ll find a gift shop featuring Figment-themed merchandise and other Disney delights. And for a souvenir, you’ll treasure for years to come, add your own likeness to your choice of Disney backdrops and have it made into a jigsaw puzzle!

Mission: SPACE®

Fulfill your fantasy of being an astronaut as you dodge meteors, navigate nebulae and slingshot around the moon.

Before you board, actor Gary Sinise briefs you as you prepare for your mission to Mars on the X-2 Deep Space Shuttle at the International Space Training Center (ISTC). Each member of your 4-cadet crew will assume an important role: navigator, pilot, commander or engineer. During your flight, each cadet will be instructed to initiate a mission-critical sequence, so be prepared!

Your crew is counting on you to do your part to ensure a successful mission and a safe trip back to Earth!

Take a ride through time for a look at the landmark moments that made today’s communications technology possible.

Travel back to the dawn of recorded history, when early man painted his thoughts on cave walls, the Egyptians invented papyrus and the Phoenicians devised the alphabet. See ideas spread like wildfire with the invention of Johannes Gutenberg’s printing press, Greek systems of mathematics and the inspiring works of the masters of the Renaissance. The wheels of time turn ever faster as we progress to the modern age of media communications, from newspapers announcing the end of the Civil War to the televised broadcast of the moon landing and beyond.
