I had such a fun stay in Tampa Bay! There’s so much to fill your days with but also so many lovely spots to chill out in the sun too. One of the things we made a point of doing was visiting The Florida Aquarium because it’s known to be one of the top aquariums in the country. It didn’t disappoint – they had everything from sharks and alligators to penguins! There was also really cool interactive programmes like Dive with the Sharks and Swim with the Fishes etc. We found out later that there was a Backstage Pass where you are able to get face-to-face with the penguins which we were gutted to miss out on so make sure if you take the trip you make the most of it! Another thing I definitely would recommend is having a go on the water bikes which are basically stationary bikes mounted on kayak’s – it’s not as scary as you would think because they are actually really difficult to tip over and families are always on them! We finished that day by having a drink in a 360-degree open waterfront bar which was so lovely.
