Chicago Holidays

The Windy City, the Heart of America and the City by the Lake. Chicago has many names and much to offer anyone who visits its streets, its sights and its venues. With great music, great food and fantastic shopping experiences around every corner, Chicago will welcome you in and give you a holiday to treasure.

Located right on Lake Michigan in the great State of Illinois, the city of Chicago is the home of electric blues and is a music lovers paradise. With jazz clubs, Broadway-style theatres, outdoor music festivals and more, your ears will thank you for booking this particular trip.

The food of this great city won’t disappoint you either! The pizza in Chicago is up there with the best of them but if you fancy something a bit fancier then checking out the Michelin-starred restaurants along the Magnificent Mile is a must. You can even indulge in a world-class dining experience while overlooking the city from one of its many skyscrapers; for a meal that’s far above the rest.

As you can imagine, a city like Chicago has a lot to see and do. But if you’d like to take things at a slightly gentler pace, then you’ll find it here too. Take in Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park, which puts on a breathtaking water, light and music show during the summer months. And then there’s also the lively Navy Pier which is filled with shops, restaurants and amusement rides too.

A holiday to Chicago with us is a trip away you don’t want to miss and it’s a trip away you’ll never forget.

Top 5 Things to do in Chicago

Walk along Lake Michigan - Despite being one of the largest cities in the USA, Chicago isn’t short of natural beauty. Lake Michigan runs along the state’s eastern edge and covers an area of 58,000 square kilometres. One of the best ways to see the blue waters is to walk along the 18-mile Lakefront Trail that stretches across multiple neighbourhoods.
Shop on the Magnificent Mile - Start where Michigan Avenue and Chicago River intertwine and start your journey north for one mile until you hit Oak Street. On your way you’ll encounter some of the best shopping Chicago has to offer, as well as the heart of the dining scene.
Distort yourself at the Cloud Gale - One of the most photographed attractions in Chicago, the Cloud Gale is a structure that is best described as a futuristic bean. Its shiny and curved surface produces entertaining and distorted reflections of whatever stands next to it. Perfect for a holiday selfie.
View the stars in Adler Planetarium - The oldest planetarium in the USA, the building itself also won the designer an award right after its opening in 1930.
Look down at the city beneath from 360 Chicago and Skydeck Chicago - Be part of Chicago’s skyline and look out onto the streets below from two amazing observation decks. The Skydeck Chicago is a 1,353 foot tall building with an observation deck on its 103rd floor. The other option, the 360 Chicago, has an open-air observation deck on its 94th floor and one of the fastest elevators in North America - it takes only 40 seconds to travel 1,000 feet.
