Highlights

See the ancient city of Petra

Explore one of Jordan’s national treasures and best-known sights. Uniquely carved into the rocks over 2,000 years ago, Petra will take your breath away. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Petra was always used in the final scenes of Indian Jones and the Last Crusade.

Jordan’s capital, Amman

A sprawling city spread over 19 hills, Amman fuses the modern with the ancient. Amman is often referred to as the “white city” due to the number of white stone houses and historical sites. There’s a wealth of Greco-Roman sites, including the Temple of Hercules and a Byzantine Church.

Relax at the sumptuous spas at the Dead Sea

Float on the salt-lake at the lowest point on Earth, it’s so salty you cannot swim! Try out one of the many hotel spas, where you can experience the famous Dead Sea mud treatments.

Hot Air Balloon over Wadi Rum

Float silently over Wadi Rum and enjoy breath-taking rock formations. See the seven pillars of Wisdom and the natural sand-dunes of the desert from 6,000 feet. Flights take place early in the morning for the best flying conditions.

Jordan is a land of surprises, safe and full of awe-inspiring sights. My favourite was having tea with the Bedouins at a desert camp, such a fantastic experience! The food is unmissable try the delicious hummus and falafel, fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside, it’s amazing in a wrap!
