Hong Kong Island

Reference WW40399
Hong Kong Island
Hong Kong Island is set on the southern end of Hong Kong. It still retains the distinctly British feel that it had under British rule. The Central area on the island is the historical, political and economic centre of Hong Kong. The northern coast of the island forms the south shore of Victoria Harbour, which is responsible for Hong Kong growing into the metropolis that it is today.

The island is home to many of the most visited sites in Hong Kong, such as "The Peak", Ocean Park, many historical landmarks and huge shopping centres. Also featured are many hiking trails across the mountains that are ideal for getting off the beaten track.
