Start your day with a visit to the Underground Palace and the Ming Tombs. Dingling is one of the Ming Tombs at the foot of Tianshou Mountain. This is the burial place of Emperor Wan Li and the only one of the tombs to be excavated.
Also known as the Underground Palace, Dingling is divided into five large chambers.
Follow your visit to the Underground Palace with a visit to the Jade Carving Factory to learn about this traditional skill and Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, the tour will include a tour of the Mutianyu Great Wall. Built to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs, this wall section is well-known for its beautiful surroundings.
A cable car is available to reach the wall's highest point (OPTIONAL).
On the return to downtown, see a traditional Chinese tea ceremony before returning to your hotel.
