Join us for a magnificent day exploring and visiting the main sites in Beijing, including China's Great Wall at Badaling and The Ming Tombs, and tuck in on a traditional Chinese lunch.
The tour starts with a visit to the Ming Tombs. The Ming Tombs is the site of the mausoleums for thirteen of the emperors of the Ming Dynasty.
The tour will visit Changling, the largest of the Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle (the first emperor of Beijing) is buried.
This is followed by a visit to the Jade Carving Factory to learn about this traditional skill and a Chinese lunch.
After lunch, the tour will visit the famous Badaling Great Wall. Built during the Ming Dynasty, this wall section is the best preserved. (Cable car to the wall is optional)
On the way back to the city, see a traditional Chinese tea ceremony.
