Fly direct from the UK to Vancouver. On arrival, make your way to your downtown Vancouver hotel. Tonight, take it easy and check out Robson Street and find a pub for dinner.
Take your Vancouver City and Lookout Tour so you can familiarize yourself with the city. This afternoon head for Chinatown. Relax in the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Garden, then eat, shop and explore. Next door is Gastown a trendy food and drink scene – a great place for dinner. Overnight in Vancouver.
Last day in Vancouver today so you must visit Stanley Park. Why not rent a bike and ride the 9km seawell path? Stop for rest a Brockton Point and view the totem poles. Next stop Prospect Point where you can see the Lionsgate Bridge and North Vancouver. End your tour relaxing at English Bay. Off to your hotel for a rest, last minute souvenirs and then dinner at one of the 65+ restaurants in Yaletown.
Today you will embark on the award-winning Rocky Mountaineer for day 1 of your 2-day journey. Enjoy your champagne toast onboard as you pull out of the station. Today you will make your way toward Kamloops for an overnight. Kamloops is not just a stop in the itinerary, but a destination of its own. Take a walk downtown and check out one of their several restaurants that serve locally grown food.
The last leg of your train adventure. Today you will wind your way through some spectacular scenery to the town of Jasper where you will spend the night.
Don’t waste a minute of your day in Jasper in this ‘outdoorsy’ town. Check out the SkyTram, the Yellowhead Museum and the Mountain Galleries. Go for a hike or bike ride. Overnight in Jasper.
Today you will take a tour to Banff. This scenic drive will take you ten hours and includes lunch. Overnight in Banff.
Banff is a real bike friendly town. The paths will take you to some of the trailheads of some of the most spectacular mountains in Canada. Take your Banff Gondola Tour. The view is amazing. Learn something about the area at the Whyte Museum and the Banff Park Museum. Head out for dinner – step off Banff Avenue and try find something to eat on Bear Street; maybe try some buffalo sausage.
Today you will take the coach to Calgary where you will spend the night. Spend the afternoon at the Calgary Zoo.
This is your chance to do the Calgary Tower (your admission is included). Do the hop on hop off city tour and plan what you want to go back and see and where you want to eat. Last night in Calgary.
