Itinerary

Fly to Toronto from the UK and make your way independently to your hotel. The remainder of the day is for you to enjoy at leisure. Overnight in Toronto.

Today is yours to experience the sights of Canada’s largest and most diverse city at your own pace. We recommend you take a City Tour – highlights include: The Eaton Centre, Chinatown, CN Tower and Old and New City Hall’s with lots of photo opportunities. There is also an optional drop off at the Harbour for a boat tour (prices available on request). Overnight in Toronto.

Today is yours to enjoy Toronto at leisure. Why not venture out of the city and enjoy a full-day tour to Niagara Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world (included)? End your final day in this thriving city with dinner with a view in the CN Tower Sky Restaurant. Overnight in Toronto.

Check out of your Toronto hotel and make your way to the airport where you will catch your internal flight from Toronto to Vancouver. After arriving in Vancouver you will be transferred up to Whistler where the remainder of the day will be spent at leisure exploring this mountain resort town. Overnight in Whistler.

This charming alpine town is nestled between world-renowned Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains and is one of the largest ski resorts in North America. Enjoy an extensive range of summer activities from golf on one of the 4 championship designer golf courses to water activities on the 5 lakes and numerous rivers, and, of course, world-class dining. Alternatively just relax and take in the views in this European-inspired village. Overnight in Whistler.

Transfer from Whistler to the Vancouver cruise terminal, where you will embark on your 7-night luxury Alaska Cruise onboard Holland America's Nieuw Amsterdam. Spend the rest of your day exploring the incredible facilities onboard.

Located between Vancouver and Ketchikan, Alaska's Inside Passage is home to some of the most breath-taking scenery on the face of the earth and is one of the few sea-lanes where deep-draft vessels can sail close to steep mountain walls. Keep your eyes peeled as you travel past forests in a hundred shades of green, tumbling turquoise glaciers, and peaceful coastal towns loaded with history, culture and adventure.

Accessible only by water or air, Juneau is shrouded with a sense of mystery. Once you arrive, Alaska's capital city will delight you with its bounty of water, forests, and mountains. View the majestic Mendenhall Glacier from the East Glacier Loop Trail, or sail 1,800ft via gondola to Mount Roberts, allowing you to take in panoramic views of Alaska's capital city. The fresh air is sure to whet your appetite so take some time to sample a local treat - crisp crab cakes.

Some of the aspiring Klondike gold rushers who made it to Skagway took a look at the 500-mile journey that still lay ahead of them and decided a change of profession was in order. So many of them set up shop as provisioners that Skagway was the largest city in Alaska by the end of the 19th century! Adventure awaits those who arrive in Klondike. Ride the antique White Pass & Yukon narrow-gauge railway, step into the Red Onion Saloon or peruse the restored buildings and wooden boardwalks of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.

A cruise to Glacier Bay National Park on your cruise will show you a UNESCO World Heritage Site that protects a unique ecosystem of plants and animals living in harmony with an ever-changing glacial landscape.

When a monumental chunk of ice splits off a glacier and thunders into the sea, the impact shoots water hundreds of feet into the air. Make sure you have a camera on-hand - this is a once in a lifetime experience that you will want to relive again and again.

Fondly nicknamed "The Salmon Capital of the World", Ketchikan clutches the shores of the Tongass Narrows, with many shops and houses built right out over the water. Besides the main attractions — Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village — make this trip even more unforgettable with a flightseeing trip to Misty Fjords National Monument. These deepwater fjords were gouged out by retreating glaciers, leaving granite cliffs towering thousands of feet above the sea and countless waterfalls plunging into placid waters. This is scenery that should only be seen from the sky, and further highlights the savage beauty of Alaska's landscape.

With most of Southeast Alaska accessible only by boat or plane, the Inside Passage is a lifeline to the outside world and hums with activity all-day long. The landscape is ever-changing as you travel past forests, glaciers and vast mountain peaks. Keep a camera on-hand as you take in all of the spectacular scenery you missed the first time – these are memories you will want to treasure forever.

After a leisurely breakfast it is time to wave goodbye to your cruise ship, disembark in Vancouver. Make your way (independently) to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure for you to enjoy the sights of this coastal city. Overnight in Vancouver.

Today you have a final day to explore the cosmopolitan city of Vancouver. Why not learn more about its fascinating history on a Vancouver Sightseeing Tour (included)? Overnight in Vancouver.

Check out of your hotel and make your way to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
