Upon arrival into Calgary, transfer by coach to the mountain town of Banff.  Remainder of the day is at leisure.

A day at leisure to explore more of this beautiful mountain town with its many craft shops, quirky coffee houses and cafes. We suggest a ride on the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for spectacular 360 degree views over the Bow Valley below and beyond (prices available on request)

Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the resort town of Banff, or the mountain hamlet of Lake Louise to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Your journey takes you through a spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie – where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. Overnight in Kamloops

Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening.

You have 2 full days to explore this wonderful city nestled at the foot of the Coast Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.  We recommend a visit to Granville Island, Stanley Park and Chinatown.

After a leisurely breakfast and a final stroll of the local neighborhoods, checkout of your hotel and transfer (included) to the cruise port for your Alaska Cruise onboard Celebrity Eclipse

The dramatic scenery of the Inside Passage has been shaped by glaciers for millions of years. The terrain here is verdant and vivid – mysterious forests blanket the towering mountains

Go whale watching, learn Tinglit tribal customs, buy arts-and-crafts gifts, or fly high above Port Frederick on a 1.6km long zip-rider. Later, tuck into the best ever halibut and chips on the cookhouse deck of historic Hoonah Packing Company cannery.

Hubbard Glacier is the largest calving glacier on the North American continent. The glacier routinely calves off icebergs as high as 10-story buildings, sending massive blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes.

Some sightseeing is best from above. View the majestic Mendenhall Glacier from the East Glacier Loop Trail, or sail 1,800ft aloft via gondola to Mount Roberts. The fresh air’s sure to whet your appetite so try out the local treat - crisp crab cakes.

Experience Eden firsthand. Kayak tranquil saltwater fjords fringed by ancient forests, keeping an eye out for black bear and playful porpoise. Tour the great outdoors by foot or bike, or whiz above ocean shores and never-ending forests by zipline

You'll sail beyond the Inside Passage into the more protected Alaska Inside Passage, a complex labyrinth of fjords and bays where whales and sea lions find refuge during the summer months

After a leisurely breakfast, transfer (included) to Vancouver Airport for your flight back to the UK
