Upon arrival into Vancouver International Airport transfer (included) to your Vancouver Hotel, and remainder of the say is at leisure.
Today you tour begins with an introduction to downtown including Canada Place, and Robson Street. Wind through historic and modern architectural wonders en route to Stanley Park, a 1,000-acre natural oasis, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. View the First Nations Totem Poles, and gaze upon rainforest and shoreline scenery on the way through the park. Get the camera ready for a photo stop at Prospect Point, with a great view of Lions Gate Bridge. Continue to the English Bay beach area, followed by the eclectic Granville Island Market. Top off this adventure with a glass elevator ride 169 metres above the streets, at the Vancouver Lookout, for views of the ocean, the Coastal Mountains, the city and rugged shoreline. This tour is a great introduction to the scenic and historic highlights of Vancouver.
This morning you will transfer from your Vancouver Hotel to the Rocky Mountaineer rail station. All aboard Rocky Mountaineer for the scenic rail journey to Kamloops in the interior of British Columbia. Pass through the rich fields of the Fraser River Valley and the towering peaks of the Coastal Mountains before entering the Fraser Canyon. Follow the Thompson River through spectacular landscapes to historic Kamloops. (Breakfast & lunch is included today)
Back on-board the Rocky Mountaineer following the South Thompson River to Shuswap Lake with its thousand miles of shoreline. Pass Craigellachie, where the ‘last spike’ was driven completing the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1885. Enter Rogers Pass, with its tunnels, snow-sheds and glistening Glaciers. The Kicking Horse River leads you to Kicking Horse Pass, the Spiral Tunnels and over the Continental Divide to Banff, and Banff National Park. (Breakfast & lunch is included today)
This morning, tour the town of Banff and its environs. Among the highlights are visits to the Hoodoos, Bow Valley Viewpoint, Surprise Corner, Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka and the Banff Gondola for a breath-taking ascent to the pinnacle of Sulphur Mountain Return to downtown Banff at your leisure. Depart Banff early afternoon for a short drive via the scenic Bow Valley to Lake Louise.

Today is free to explore Jasper before departing this evening to experience the environs of Jasper, and for some amazing close-up photo opportunities of wildlife.
All aboard Rocky Mountaineer for a scenic rail journey to Kamloops in the interior of British Columbia. Leaving Jasper National Park, travel the ‘Yellowhead’ route past the sprawling grandeur of Mount Robson ‘the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies and follow the mighty Thompson River, the route of early fur traders, before arriving in Kamloops. (Breakfast & lunch is included today).
Leaving Kamloops, follow the Thompson River through Ashcroft, one of Canada’s driest towns, with an average rainfall of just 18 centimetres. Pass through Rainbow Canyon, named for its cliffs striped with pinks, greens and greys creating a stunning rainbow effect. Continue on to the Fraser Canyon, where at Hell’s Gate watch water torrent past the canyon walls at its narrowest point. The last leg of the journey takes you through the fertile farming region of the Fraser Valley to arrive in the Pacific port of Vancouver late afternoon. (Breakfast & lunch is included today)

The dramatic scenery of the Inside Passage has been shaped by glaciers for millions of years. The terrain here is verdant and vivid – mysterious forests blanket the towering mountains.
Go whale watching, learn Tinglit tribal customs, buy arts-and-crafts gifts, or fly high above Port Frederick on a 1.6km long zip-rider. Later, tuck into the best ever halibut and chips on the cookhouse deck of historic Hoonah Packing Company cannery.
Hubbard Glacier is the largest calving glacier on the North American continent. The glacier routinely calves off icebergs as high as 10-story buildings, sending massive blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes.
Some sightseeing is best from above. View the majestic Mendenhall Glacier from the East Glacier Loop Trail, or sail 1,800ft aloft via gondola to Mount Roberts. The fresh air’s sure to whet your appetite so try out the local treat - crisp crab cakes.
Experience Eden firsthand. Kayak tranquil saltwater fjords fringed by ancient forests, keeping an eye out for black bear and playful porpoise. Tour the great outdoors by foot or bike, or whiz above ocean shores and never-ending forests by zipline
You'll sail beyond the Inside Passage into the more protected Alaska Inside Passage, a complex labyrinth of fjords and bays where whales and sea lions find refuge during the summer months
After a leisurely break disembark your ship and transfer (included) to your overnight hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure.
