Spend some time squeezing in some last sights in Seattle before embarking on your 7-night Alaska cruise aboard Ruby Princess.

Accessible only by water or air, Juneau is shrouded with a sense of mystery and is surprisingly full of small town charm. Once you arrive, Alaska's capital city will delight you with its bounty of water, forests, and mountains. View the majestic Mendenhall Glacier from the East Glacier Loop Trail, or sail 1,800ft via gondola to Mount Roberts, allowing you to take in panoramic views of Alaska's capital city. The fresh air is sure to whet your appetite so take some time to sample a local treat - crisp crab cakes.

Some of the aspiring Klondike gold rushers who made it to Skagway took a look at the 500-mile journey that still lay ahead of them and decided a change of profession was in order. So many of them set up shop as provisioners that Skagway was the largest city in Alaska by the end of the 19th century! Adventure awaits those who arrive in Klondike. Ride the antique White Pass & Yukon narrow-gauge railway, step into the Red Onion Saloon or peruse the restored buildings and wooden boardwalks of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.

A cruise to Glacier Bay National Park will show you a UNESCO World Heritage Site that protects a unique ecosystem of plants and animals living in harmony with an ever-changing glacial landscape. When a monumental chunk of ice splits off a glacier and thunders into the sea the impact shoots water hundreds of feet into the air. Make sure you have a camera on-hand - this is a moment you will want to relive over and over again

Fondly nicknamed "The Salmon Capital of the World", Ketchikan clutches the shores of the Tongass Narrows, with many shops and houses built right out over the water. Its climate means it is home to incredible lush rainforest. Besides the main attractions — Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village — make this trip even more unforgettable with a flightseeing trip to Misty Fjords National Monument. This is scenery that should only be seen from the sky, and further highlights the savage beauty of Alaska's landscape.

Nicknamed “The Best Place on Earth”, Victoria is walkable seaside city packed full of fragrant gardens, waterfront paths, engaging museums, and beautiful 19th century architecture and British influence. In the summer, the Inner Harbour – Victoria’s social and cultural centre – buzzes with visiting yachts, horse and carriage rides, street entertainers and excursion boats heading out to visit pods of friendly local whales.

Wave goodbye to your Alaskan adventure after breakfast as you depart your cruise ship. Later, board the train for your 2-night journey to Chicago.

Today is a full-day travelling to Chicago on Amtrack. Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery around you - make sure you pack a camera to snap some unforgettable memories. Overnight on the train.

Welcome to Chicago! Spend some free time exploring all this amazing city has to offer. Take a walk down the Magnificent Mile for world class shopping, dining, and attractions. Head to the architectural wonder Millennium Park. Scope out Navy Pier for tasty food and great views of the city. The Windy City is truly one of a kind.

Today is yours again at leisure to explore the sights of the Windy City. We suggest you take a sightseeing architectural cruise (not included) of the Chicago harbor. Experienced and entertaining tour guides will recount the dramatic story of Chicago's rise from the Great Fire of 1871 and how the Windy City became the home of the skyscraper and the cradle of modern American architecture. Ramble around the city this evening and pick a cosy restaurant for dinner. Why not experience the city's famous nightlife by visiting the lively bars dotted around the streets?

Make sure you take some time to squeeze in some more of Chicago's fantastic attractions on your final day. Don't forget to try the world famous deep dish pizza at one of the many joints around the city. In the evening, head to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
