Victoria Holidays

A beautiful coastal city nestled on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is the perfect blend of ancient heritage and new-world amenities. If you are dreaming of a destination that is both relaxing and fascinating in equal measure, look no further than Canada’s provincial capital.

The multicultural history of Victoria is displayed with pride throughout the city. From First Nations history to British-inspired architecture and Asian tradition, Victoria is a perfect example of the vibrant, electric atmosphere that can be created when worlds collide.

As the oldest city in the Pacific Northwest, Victoria has charm by the bucket load. Prepare to be enchanted as you explore the waterfront, meander along the cobbled streets and admire nature at its finest. Castles, churches and temples dot the streets, and there is something to discover at every turn. If you’re looking for romance, why not embark on a unique sightseeing experience with a horse-drawn carriage ride around the city centre?

If you fancy spending your time in Victoria in a slightly more leisurely fashion, head to one of the many first-class restaurants and indulge in some local cuisine. Luxury hotel accommodation is available throughout the city, as are countless quaint B&B’s in the famous historic houses. No matter what your taste, you will fall in love with Victoria from the moment you arrive. If you want to venture further afield then there are great car hire options available for you to choose from.

Our Canada Specialists will be delighted to tailor-make your trip to suit your exact requirements. Get in touch today, your holiday to Victoria could be just around the corner.

Craft Beer and Culinary Tour

Craft beer in Victoria has exploded and on this tour we will visit 4 of the best brewpubs and restaurants that are creating and serving the best beers in the city! Join us for an afternoon tour that involves 7 beer samples, 3 food stops, and lots of history about the craft beer scene and the city.

We start the tour at the new Hawk and Hen restaurant on Yates Street. Here we sample a local Phillips beer and dine on their house made ricotta and tomato salad. Matt Philips has been making stellar beer in Victoria since 2001 and is a staple in the local beer scene. Next we head to the very trendy Drake Eatery for 2 ever-changing beers and a small bite to eat. The Drake carries over 25 taps that are always changing and always unique! After a walk through historic Market Square (once the loction of the largest Opium manufacturer in North America) we stop in at the iconic Swan’s Hotel and Brewpub. Here we try one of their beers made in-house by their brewmaster. Lastly we end at Canoe Brewpub where we will sample 2 of their in-house beers and another small bite to eat. Located in a heritage building along the Inner Harbour, this is a great place to either stick around and enjoy the view or continue East on the Victoria ale trail.
