Dubrovnik is a Croatian city on the Adriatic Sea, in the region of Dalmatia. It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Mediterranean, a seaport and the centre of Dubrovnik-Neretva County.

Although Dubrovnik may be full of history and medieval buildings, there is an extremely modern side to it as well. You can shop till you drop in the stylish boutiques or enjoy some delicious food in the bustling restaurants.

A huge attraction in Dubrovnik is its walls that run almost 2km around the city, there is a system of turrets dotted throughout the walls which were intended to protect the city. Game Of Thrones fans might enjoy a walk around these walls as they were used in the filming of the popular TV series. There are a wide variety of hotels in Dubrovnik and you can have anything from Romantic to Trendy or even a family-friendly hotel.
