Clocking in at just 146 square miles, expect to find deserted beaches, fantastic surf, whitewashed traditional towns, undisturbed coral reefs, and mountains covered in forest.

La Gomera is only accessible by ferry, which makes it a terrific option for a more extensive island-hopping itinerary. Car hire is also available on the island as well, and with no high-rise hotels, you’ll be treated to one of the most scenic drives of your life.
