Holidays to Costa De La Luz

Choose any of our Costa de la Luz holidays and you'll find yourself jetting off to Andalusia’s breezy Atlantic coast, the Costa de la Luz, stretches south from Huelva all the way to Cádiz and Tarifa, famous throughout Europe for its wind and kitesurfing, the white sandy beaches along this coastline are relatively unspoilt.

The Costa de la Luz couldn’t be more different from its Costa cousins. The Costa de la Luz is where wealthy, professional and middle-class Spaniards holiday. It's hot, in the high thirties in August, but warm enough to visit during the spring or autumn half-term. Its mixture of historic towns, sedate resorts and wonderfully long, wild stretches of surf-slapped, dune-backed sand all bathed in the extraordinary light that gave the coast its name makes for an outstanding family destination.

There are two tourist hubs to choose from: Chiclana de la Frontera and Isla Canela. The first of which focuses on its 6-kilometre beach, and offers a charming balance between beach-front bars and untouched sands. The second town, which sits on an island connected to the region by a small bridge where you’ll find a sandy beach and 18-hole golf course.
