Agios Ioannis holidays are located in a resort that is very much about the beach, and when you see it for the first time you will understand why. A curved sweep of soft sand that slopes evenly into the calm waters of the clear blue sea, it’s a pretty idyllic spot on which to enjoy your holiday.
If a comfy sun lounger and the odd dip in the sea are not enough to keep you entertained then there are plenty of water sports here that will, from flashy jet skis to harnessing nature with some windsurfing. If you’re more of an observationalist then there are boats galore, from yachts to fishing vessels, providing some gentle action to watch as you doze in the sun.
One of the reasons Agios Ioannis has become popular with families is because it’s so very well equipped, whilst still being remarkably peaceful. Shops, restaurants and tavernas are here in just the right numbers and there is nightly entertainment that is fun but not over the top. Those looking for a serious party can head to Mykonos Town, which is about ten minutes on the bus.
