Map

Sail down the River

Take in the Prague skyline from the Vltava River on a Prague holiday. On one side, you’ll see the spires towering over the Old Town, and on the other, you’ll find the Lesser Town, a medieval district that’s got a lot more to offer than its name suggests. Don’t miss out – there are cruises setting off day and night.

Discover Jewish history

Get a sense of Jewish life in Prague from the 13th-century to the modern era. Tour the synagogues of this former ghetto, including the oldest one in Europe and the Spanish Synagogue, with incredible Moorish architecture. Literature fans should head to Kafka’s house on Golden Lane, a charmingly squat building with a blue front

Alternative art history

See an indie band, watch the latest works from young Czech playwrights or enjoy international and local art. It’s all here at the arts centre housed inside an old glass factory. The mix of contemporary pieces in an industrial setting makes this the hottest spot in Prague, and a big favourite of local culture-seekers.
