I have worked in the travel industry for just over 4 years.
I have travelled on over 25 P&O Cruises while growing up. I have visited Norway, the Baltic's, the coastal countries of the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands, as well as Japan and New York more recently.
I love that a cruise has something for everyone, no matter how old or young, each ship and cruise line caters for everyone in there own unique way.
The below gives you a guide on this years' travels! This year I did a 14-night cruise around the Mediterranean on P&O's Azura. I had a go at sea kayaking in Cadiz, saw the monkeys on the rock of Gibraltar and visited the city of Rome for the first time.
TOP TIP:
Even if you are visiting a cruise destination for the second or third time, there is always something new to see each time. An excursion with a local guide is a good way to learn more about the history of the place you are visiting as well as seeing or trying something new.
I also visited Japan this year, visiting the south of the country the areas of Setouchi and Kyushu. I experienced the famous bullet train, some beautiful temples and shrines and a traditional Japanese way of life.
TOP TIP:
If planning on visiting Japan, I would recommend to travel as part of an organised tour or to hire a local guide. Although its improving, the people of Japan, on the whole, speak little to no English so travelling and communicating can be difficult.

I went to Barrhead travel in the French gate centre the service was 5 star from start to finish. Callum asked what I was looking for and where I wanted to stay flights transfers rooms dates,. He dealt with it all professional and shown the break down of the cost etc would go back again also I got my insurance while I was there, as well, brill service and experience
