I have been in the travel industry for over 24 years since leaving school. I began my career with Lunn Poly as an apprentice and have continued within the travel industry. Now, I am an Assistant Manager for Barrhead Travel in Burnley. I am really passionate about what I do, and customer service is so important to me. I like to help in any way i can and your holiday is as important to me as it is to you.
I love to travel and have travelled to some amazing destinations, I swam with turtles in Barbados, I spent my Honeymoon in Mexico and I have experienced the magic of Disney and the thrills of Universal Studios in Florida to name a few. I have travelled to many destinations in Europe including Mainland Spain, Balearics, Canary Islands, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Malta.
I love resorts with plenty of live entertainment in an evening. I travelled to Tenerife in 1996 and have been back many times since for this reason. I have tried and tested some of the attractions the area has to offer from the thrills of the largest waterpark in Europe Siam park to seeing the whales and dolphins on a catamaran cruise.
I have a vast knowledge of the hotels and apartments in the resort of Los Cristianos, Playa De Las Americas and Costa Adeje. I also love Benidorm for the great mix of nightlife and entertainment. The old town has some amazing tapas bars in Tapas Alley, wander around the winding pedestrianised streets for some great shopping or see some of the tribute acts in the busy bars of Levante.
My favourite holiday has to be a cruise. I cruised for the first time a few years ago and caught the cruising bug and I now holiday every year on a cruise and currently have 2 more booked for 2021. I have sailed on the Azura with P&O and I have sailed on 4 ships with Royal Caribbean. I love the entertainment, the food is incredible and what better way to see the world.
Absolutely brilliant, booked today while in the comfort of my own home , Kathryn found me and my friend and her family a great all inclusive holiday with Jet 2 , to Greece /Crete , the dates we wanted , the earlier flight , couldn’t do enough for us , thank you very much , great service , we are all very excited , will definitely recommend to my family and friends xx

The Perfect Family Holiday

We went to Kathryn last minute to find us a family holiday. There were quite a few things we wanted the holiday to fulfil: good flight times, all inclusive, nice and clean hotel, suitable for our 17 month daughter. Kathryn was brilliant and did everything she could to find the perfect holiday for us. Nothing was too much of an ask. It was the perfect holiday for us!

Kathryn was brilliant helping us choose our holiday, we weren’t sure which resort we wanted to go to, but she asked us a few questions, and very quickly suggested Benidorm, she was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the resort, the hotel, its location, entertainment etc, she made us feel we had made a good choice, and we certainly did! We had a fantastic holiday & everything was as Kathryn described, from the hotel, its location to the resort itself! We will definitely be going back to Barrhead travel for our next holiday, and i hope to book it with Kathryn, because she was so helpful, knowledgeable, and nothing was too much for her

My experience of booking a Holiday with Kathryn was exceptional, she greeted us with a warm and friendly manner and was genuinely interested in where we wanted to travel to and what our requirements were. Kathryn had excellent knowledge and spent a lot of time looking at different Hotels and flight options for us we, Kathryn also researched trips and show ticket prices nothing was too much trouble we ended up with an absolutely amazing holiday will definitely be booking with Kathryn again.
