Hello, my name is Darren and I have worked with Barrhead Travel for the past 9 years in our Livingston store, and also worked extensively over Europe for 9 years with tour operators, enabling me to gain an extensive first hand product knowledge of a vast variety of destinations across Europe, the USA and the Middle East. I also have a degree in Tourism Management which I graduated with in 2000.

Whilst having experienced various destinations, my favourite destination is the magical area of Orlando, having been travelling there since 1989. It is very rare I won't have a Florida countdown on the go! I also was lucky enough to complete a bucket list experience of attending WrestleMania in both 2017 and 2019. I pride myself on having the best knowledge of the theme parks and also know countless hints and tips to help you get the most out of your trip to the most magical place on earth!

I also have been a Sandals and Beaches specialist and have been lucky enough to visit half of their properties so far, with intentions on seeing the other half! So if a luxury included All Inclusive holiday, honeymoon or wedding is what you are looking for, I would be delighted to help you.

Another passion of mine is the ski product. As a keen skier and ex ski rep, I have been on the piste in resorts such as Sauze d'Oulx, Livigno, Bardonecchia and Les Deux Alpes. Should you require a ski and wintersports specialist, look no further.
