Panorama Ski Resort  Canada...
Description

Panorama Mountain Village is about big vertical and big mountain terrain – over 1,220 meters/4,000 vertical feet and over 2,800 snow-covered acres. With the addition of two new quads, varied ski terrain, slopeside hot pools, and luxurious slopeside ski-in/ski-out accommodations; Panorama Mountain Village is fast becoming one of the Canadian Rockies’ premier vacation destinations. Panorama is located just two hours drive south west of Banff and three and a half hours from Calgary.

Taynton Bowl, the biggest terrain expansion in the history of the resort offers lift access to almost 1,000 acres of glades, chutes and gullies, all former heli-skiing terrain. Both Skiing and Ski Canada magazine have rated the bowl as the "Best New Terrain." Panorama is located on the edge of the largest heli-skiing region in the world and R.K. Heli-Ski, located at Panorama offers day excursions via helicopter into backcountry powder.

The Taynton experience is complemented by super-long cruising runs featuring Panorama’s award-winning grooming. For freestyle enthusiasts, an expert and an intermediate terrain park flesh out the mountain’s offerings with rails, tabletops and halfpipe. The terrain is broken down into 15% beginner, 55% intermediate/advanced and 30% expert.

Ideally located as a hub to Fernie, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, BC, and Banff, Panorama provides the ultimate base for touring and experiencing the greatest skiing and powder snow in the Canadian Rockies. Panorama also offers a day bus and interchangeable lift tickets with Kicking Horse.

After a day on the slopes, sink into the soothing waters of the giant, slopeside, Panorama Springs Hot Pools. Soak and stargaze before heading into the pedestrian village to check out a variety of family activities, restaurants and après options.
