Birmingham is situated in the west midlands of England and is Britain’s second largest city after London. It is a very lively city with interesting old buildings such as the town hall and council house; the city is full of restaurants, theatres, bars and pubs so there is always something going on. Birmingham is also rich in culture with many good museums including the Birmingham museum and the Ikon gallery which are definitely worth a visit. The whole city of Birmingham has had a facelift, with the renovated City Hall, Victoria Square and new pedestrian areas; the canal has also become an important feature in the city again. Birmingham is famous for its balti's and also being home to Cadbury world where chocolate lovers can visit the factory
