Terceira’s origins have been dated back to the 15th century, and have since been declared a World Heritage Site.
Being an extremely picturesque town, with cobbled streets that have stood the test of time, you will instantly fall in love with this place as you venture around the corners, discovering what has been there for so long.
From playing a round of golf to exploring volcanoes, swimming in rock pools to visiting 19th century chapels scattered throughout the island there will be something for you whatever your interests are.
There are also street bullfights on the island, but don’t threat, the bulls horns are padded and they’re never killed so this is a 100% enjoyable experience.
You will find the perfect place to stay as your accommodation, but don’t expect heaving tourist hotels or anything – the nice quite villas available will probably be your best bet!
