Following the trend of most of the Mallorcan villages, this village was, and still is a fishing village and is rumoured to be the birthplace of Christopher Columbus.
The accommodation available ranges from three to four stars and self catering apartments are also readily available.
Compared to the larger resorts, this area is rather quiet so it is ideal if you are tired of the normal holidays of being bunched together with loads of tourists and you just want to break away and experience how the life in a small fishing village in Spain really is.
