Playa de la Arena boasts one of the finest beaches in Tenerife, awarded the coveted blue flag by the European Union for as many years as can be remembered and although its not the largest beach in the world it can comfortably say it’s as good as any other beach on the entire island, it’s that good.
Built in a strip along the edge of the Avenida Maritima, slicing the resort in half. The road itself runs for several miles, with the beach in the middle.
A promenade is available for a late evening stroll but you should know that Playa de la Arena is a growing resort and you may find some evidence of ongoing construction projects nearby.
Overall Playa de la Arena is a small resort aimed at Couples and Families looking for a quiet beach holiday.
