The popular town beaches of El Molinar, Ciudad Jardin and Portixol boast a plethora of small cafés, clubs and night-life. There are a variety of water sports available, such as scuba diving, sailing and mini cruises, windsurfing and fishing along the coast. The Sierra de Tramontana Mountain is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site which comprises of tall peaks and great mountain hiking trails. The preferred mode of exploration here is on horseback but although well designed, the routes are not well advertised. You will need to ask the locals for the up to date schedules as they change periodically. Inland there are a variety of beautiful mountains and eleven cutting-edge golf courses to discover. The old town offers scrumptious tapas restaurants. If you are interested in trying the age old Spanish cuisine then Sa Llotja and Santa Catalina are the main districts to visit.
