Coral Bay is a popular tourist resort just north of the city of Paphos. The coast to the north and to the south of Coral Bay is characterized by rocky headlands and sea caves, Coral Bay itself is a 600m crescent of soft white sand, enclosed by a pair of limestone headlands. Coral Bay beach carries an EU Blue Flag certification which means that it adheres to all standards, rules and regulations required by the relevant committee of the European Union. When it comes to length, the sandy beach measures up pretty well. Coral Bay was a bit of a latecomer to tourism, it is nestled among banana plantations and vineyards. A long main strip runs through the town centre and along the waterside, offering up rustic tavernas and a handful of cheery cocktail bars with low key nightlife. Families are really well looked after in Coral Bay. The tavernas along the main strip – serve up first-rate seafood as well as simple kids’ menus. And, come evening, there’s plenty of family-friendly entertainment, ranging from tribute shows to karaoke sessions. Shuttle buses run every 15 minutes to the quieter Potima Bay, a large expanse of beach with sun loungers, umbrellas and a couple of beach bars. And with Paphos just up the road, you'll never feel out on a limb. Book your Coral Bay holiday today.
